The invention relates to methods for producing cereal-based beverages. In particular, the invention provides, for example, methods for steeping and germinating grain of cereals with constant aeration. The invention also provides wet grinding of sprouted grain of cereals and direct transfer of the sprouted grain, without drying, to the brewery for further processing. The methods of the present invention significantly reduce the required water consumption, energy and transport costs compared to existing methods. |
