Method and apparatus for removing nitrogen oxides from gas streams, comprising introducing a gas stream to be treated into a gas-solid-phase reaction column and simultaneously introducing solid particles of ferric chloride into a gas-solid-phase reaction column. Nitrogen oxides in gas streams undergo a chemical absorption reaction in the gas-solid phase system with solid particles of ferric chloride with the formation of solid products that are removed, due to which the gas is purified. |
