The invention describes a method for inhibiting the growth of unwanted weeds, comprising applying an agrochemical composition to weeds or soils in which weeds grow. The agrochemical composition contains an effective amount of a triazine derivative or its salt and a carrier acceptable for agriculture, wherein the triazine derivative is represented by the formula II wherein R and R are independently selected from a C-C1-6 alkyl group or a phenyl group substituted with one or more substituents selected from halogen atoms; R represents a hydroxyl group and Y and Z both represent an oxygen atom. The composition optionally contains an additional agrochemical active component. |
