abstract The invention provides a novel IL-2 protein with selective agonistic activity against regulatory T cells and with an additional amino acid substitution, which provides the opportunity for chemical conjugation with polyethylene glycol (PEG), which lengthens the half-life from the bloodstream compared to just one IL-2 selective agonist. A preferred embodiment of the IL-2 selective agonist is IL2 / N88R / C125S / D109C.
