abstract The invention relates to a method for producing soap bar compositions containing a bar matrix, mainly containing long chain soap, and interspersed regions that mainly contain soap with shorter chains. The new bars according to the present invention are hard enough for use in large-scale production with the advantages of significantly increasing the volume of the resulting foam, for example, due to the delivery of soaps with short chains from areas with a concentrated content. It was unexpectedly found that even when soaps in areas with a concentrated content make up a small percentage of the total amount of soaps used, they form the observed set of peaks characteristic of the kappa phase.
