abstract The invention relates to the field of organic chemistry and can be used to purify process and waste water from oil, oil products and other hydrocarbons, including fuel oil, gasoline, kerosene, oil, cutting fluid, suspended solids, including small particles of sand, clay, or from complex aqueous emulsion-suspension mixtures, and can also be used as a corrosion inhibitor and antiscalant. The technical result to which the invention is directed is to reduce the residual content of impurities in the treated water while increasing the degree of demulsification of petroleum products. The essence of the invention lies in the fact that the reagent for water purification contains sodium alkylamino phosphonate and differs from the prototype in that the claimed reagent additionally contains sodium aminomethylene phosphonate in a concentration of 10-50 wt.%.
