titleOfInvention METHOD OF IODIZING AND IODINE-CONTAINING PRODUCT FOR THE APPLICATION IN FEEDING ANIMALS AND POULTRY
abstract A method for iodization of a product of organic origin for use in feeding animals and poultry is proposed. at the same time iodization can be carried out by elemental iodine in the activated state, obtained at the moment of oxidation of iodide ion They can be used as a specific oxidizing agent, and hydrogen peroxide can be used as a specific oxidizing agent with its not less than threefold molar excess. Iodization can be carried out in an aqueous medium having a pH of from 3.0 to 5.5, and the ratio of the mass parts of the aqueous medium and baker's yeast is from 1: 0.3 to 1: 1 which contain bound iodine from 0.1 to 2.5 wt.%.
