The invention relates to microorganisms, in particular Archaea, which, due to cultivation at 25 ° C, contain unsaturated lipids with a simple ether link in an amount of at least 10% relative to the total mass of lipids with a simple ether link. In a further aspect, the present invention relates to a lipid composition that can be obtained from Archaea data, in particular from the class Halomebacteria, in particular the order Halobacteriales, in particular the genus Halobacteriaceae, in particular the species Haloarcula or Haloferax. These compositions of lipids, in particular liposomes, are characterized by the presence of a large number of unsaturated lipids with an ether linkage. The following aspect of this invention relates to a method for obtaining data of ether-linked unsaturated lipids from the mentioned Archaea. |
