titleOfInvention COATING APPLICATION METHOD
abstract The invention relates to a method of coating a wrapping material made of paper or cardboard for smoking articles or parts of smoking articles to reduce the tendency of said wrapping material to absorb and diffuse aqueous or oily substances, and on one side of the wrapping material there are two coatings that are applied one on top of the other and in liquid form in two successive stages of coating, and the liquid mixture for coating in both stages of coating consists of ma coating material and liquid volatile matrix. At the stage of applying the first coating, at least one layer of the material for the first coating is applied, which reduces the ability of the paper or cardboard to absorb the liquid volatile matrix of the second coating material; at the stage of applying the second coating, at least one layer of the material for the second coating is applied, which is repulsive or impermeable to one or more of the following substances: oils, fats, waxes, alcohols and water. The liquid volatile matrix used for the material for the first coating differs from that used for the material for the second coating.
