A cemented composite product is described that can serve as a substitute for stone or hard surface materials, such as granite, marble, and artificial stone. In addition, methods have been disclosed for manufacturing a cemented composite product using an extruded cement composition that can be extruded or otherwise formed into building products with stone properties that can be used to replace many of the known stone products. In one embodiment, the cemented composite products can be manufactured at lower cost, achieving the same or greater strength and greater durability than stone and solid surface materials. |
