abstract |
A method for producing an elastomeric composition with a self-consolidation property based on at least (in pce, which means the number of parts by mass per one hundred parts of solid elastomer), of a solid unsaturated diene elastomer; hydrocarbon resin, which at room temperature (23 ° C) is a solid, in an amount of from 40 to 80 pce; filler in an amount of from 0 to less than 5 pce; tiouarampolysulfide in an amount of from 0.5 to 15 pce and a liquid plasticizer in an amount of less than 60 pce; wherein during the first stage (a) a masterbatch containing at least a solid unsaturated diene elastomer and a hydrocarbon resin in an amount of from 40 to 80 pce is obtained by mixing these various components in a mixer at or at a temperature called “hot mixing temperature” , which exceeds the softening temperature of the hydrocarbon resin. |
