abstract The invention provides a washcloth for personal hygiene, having a water-insoluble absorbent / adsorbent layer attached to a water-insoluble cleaning layer, and a soft, low-active, low-viscosity cleansing composition contained in the absorbent / absorbent layer. A sufficient amount of the composition is transferred to the needs of the cleaning layer by squeezing the washcloth. The bast creates copious amounts of lather and provides a gentle wash.
