abstract | The present invention provides a method for producing a compound represented by the formula XOR; dialkyltin dialkoxide compounds containing one tin atom, two Sn – R bonds, and two Sn – OR bonds; and / or tetraalkyldialkoxydistannoxane compounds containing one Sn-O-Sn bond, where each tin atom of the tetraalkyldialkoxydistannoxan compound forms two Sn-R bonds and one Sn-OR bond, this method involves the interaction, in the absence of a catalyst, at least one alkyltin compounds selected from the group comprising the following i) and ii): i) a dialkyl tin compound containing one tin atom, two Sn-R bonds (where R is an alkyl group) and two Sn-OX bonds (where OX represents is a group in which the HOH swarm, which is a conjugate acid for OH, is a Brønsted acid (pKot 0 to 6.8); and ii) a tetraalkyldistannoxane compound containing one Sn-O-Sn bond, where each tin atom of the tetraalkyldistannoxane compound forms two Sn-R bonds and one Sn-OX bond (where OX is a group in which HOH, which is a conjugate acid for OX, is a Brønsted acid with pKot 0 to 6.8); with a carboxylic ester represented by the formula ROCOOR (where R is a linear or branched, saturated or unsaturated hydrocarbon group, a hydrocarbon group having a saturated or unsaturated cyclic hydrocarbon substituent, or a Y — CH- group (in which Y is an alkyl polyalkylene group, an aromatic group or a cyclic saturated or unsaturated alkylene ether group)) and / or an alcohol represented by the formula ROH (where R is similar to that defined above). |
