titleOfInvention METHOD OF CARRYING OUT MASS-EXCHANGE PROCESSES AND THE DEVICE FOR ITS IMPLEMENTATION
abstract The invention relates to means for carrying out mass transfer sorption processes for the separation of components of aqueous solutions of inorganic substances. The method of conducting mass transfer sorption processes involves passing the processed aqueous solution through a layer of granular sorbent (2). The layer of sorbent is pre-filled with organic liquid (1), which is not miscible with either water or the processed aqueous solution, while not allowing fluidization of the sorbent in the specified layer. The apparatus for carrying out mass-exchange sorption processes is a vertical vessel (29) with inlet and outlet nozzles (33, 34) into which a layer (36) of sorbent is loaded, placed between the upper and lower drainage-distribution systems (38, 37). Industrial installation for the separation of components of aqueous solutions of inorganic substances includes the specified apparatus and apparatus (112) for separating organic liquid substances from aqueous solutions. The processed solution is introduced at the interface between the organic liquid (1) and the surface of the sorbent granules (2), forming the thinnest film (3), enveloping the granules. As a result, the contact surface of the solution with the sorbent significantly increases and the efficiency of the process increases.
