The invention relates to substituted derivatives of indoline. The compounds of the invention are PERK inhibitors and can be used in the treatment of cancer, eye diseases and diseases associated with the response pathways of activated non-twisted proteins, such as Alzheimer's disease, stroke, type 1 diabetes, Parkinson's disease, Huntington's disease, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, heart attack myocardium, cardiovascular disease, atherosclerosis and arrhythmias, and more specifically, cancer of the breast, colon, pancreas and lung. Accordingly, the invention also relates to pharmaceutical compositions comprising a compound of the invention. The invention also relates to methods of inhibiting PERK activity and treating disorders associated with this activity. |
