titleOfInvention | METHOD OF TREATMENT OF UNDERGROUND WELLS USING VARIABLE ADDITIVES |
abstract | The compositions of working fluids for well treatment and methods for their preparation and use are described; one of the formulations contains a well treatment fluid and an additive combined with the fluid, characterized in that the additive is selected from solids, liquids, and combinations thereof, the additive has a surface shape, with at least one of the properties of the surface shape, allowing the additive to change under the influence of a controlled parameter after the introduction of the composition into a hydraulic fracturing or gravel pack. In the methods described in this invention, the additive exists initially in the first state and then changes and passes into the second state. The first state may increase proppant flow efficiency, while the second state may increase hydraulic conductivity. In some embodiments of the invention, additives can return to the first state. |
