abstract |
An effective agent has been proposed for treating an infection, in particular for treating an infection associated with Pseudomonas aeruginosa. A monoclonal antibody to PcrV or part of such an antibody and a pharmaceutical composition comprising such a monoclonal antibody or part thereof as an active component are provided. In particular, the monoclonal antibody of the present invention exhibits a high cytotoxicity inhibition activity against target Pseudomonas aeruginosa cells. The monoclonal antibody of the present invention also has high affinity for PcrV. |
