abstract | The method of determining cobalt (II) relates to the field of analytical chemistry of elements, namely to methods for the determination of cobalt, and can be used in its determination in process solutions and man-made waters. The method includes preparing a solution of cobalt (II), removing cobalt (II) from a solution by a sorbent, transferring it to a complex compound on the surface of the sorbent, separating the sorbent from the solution, measuring the intensity of the color of the surface of the cobalt complex and determining the cobalt content. the sorbent uses silica, sequentially modified with polyhexamethylene guanidine and nitroso-H-salt, and the color intensity is estimated from the diffuse reflectance measured at 540 nm. The technical result is to reduce the detection limit, expanding the range of detectable contents. |
