abstract The invention relates to a continuous method for producing fatty acid amides, according to which at least one fatty acid of the formula R-COOH (I), where R is optionally substituted with an aliphatic hydrocarbon radical, reacts with at least one amine of the formula HNRR (II), where R1 and R1 have the meanings indicated in the claims to form the ammonium salt, and this ammonium salt then reacts to form fatty acid amide under the action of microwave radiation in the reaction tube, with the longitudinal axis of the tube oriented irovana in the direction of propagation of microwaves single-mode microwave applicator.
