The invention describes a new method for the preparation of 9-dichloromethylene-1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-1,4-methanonaphthalen-5-ylamine, which involves a) reaction of cyclopentadiene in the presence of a radical initiator and CXCl, where X is chlorine or bromine, to obtain a compound of formula (II), or aa) react cyclopentadiene with CXCl, where X denotes chlorine, in the presence of a metal-containing catalyst to obtain a compound of formula (II) in which X denotes chlorine, b) react the compound of formula (II) with a base in the presence of a suitable solvent to obtain the compound form s (III); c) converting the compound of formula (III) in the presence of 1,2-dihydro-6-nitrobenzene to the compound of formula (IV) and d) hydrogenating the compound of formula (IV) in the presence of a metal-containing catalyst. |
