The invention relates to antibodies, including human antibodies and their antigen-binding parts, which bind to myostatin and inhibit myostatin. The invention also describes human antibodies against myostatin and their antigen-binding parts. The invention also relates to antibodies that are chimeric, bispecific, derivatives, single chain antibodies or parts of fusion proteins. The invention also relates to isolated heavy and light chains of immunoglobulins derived from human antibodies against myostatin and nucleic acid molecules encoding such immunoglobulins. The present invention also describes methods for producing human antibodies against myostatin, compositions containing these antibodies, and methods for using these antibodies and compositions for diagnosis and treatment. The present invention also provides gene therapy methods using nucleic acid molecules encoding heavy and / or light immunoglobulin molecules that include human anti-myostatin antibodies. The invention also describes transgenic animals or transgenic plants that contain nucleic acid molecules according to the present invention. |
