abstract | The quality of the potato is improved by applying to the plant or part of the plant a composition containing: (a) a compound capable of chelating with iron, or (b) chelating iron with a chelating compound. Specific quality improvements include an increase in dry matter content, an increase in starch content and a decrease in reducing sugar content.
