abstract |
This invention relates to humanized antibodies and antibody preparations obtained from transgenic animals other than humans. Animals other than humans are obtained by genetic engineering, such that they contain one or more humanized immunoglobulin loci that are capable of undergoing gene rearrangement and gene conversion in transgenic animals other than humans to produce a variety of humanized immunoglobulins. Humanitariannet antibodies according to the invention have minimal immunogenicity for humans and are suitable for use in the therapeutic treatment of humans. |
