The installation for the synthesis of titanium dioxide contains a plasmatron connected to an oxygen source, a plasma-chemical reactor connected to the titanium tetrachloride supply tank, a quenching chamber with a pneumatic pulse generator installed in the lower part, a pipe-in-pipe heat exchanger, coaxially directly connected to the radial outlet of the quenching chambers, a cyclone with a stilling chamber and a filter. In the middle zone of the plasma-chemical reactor body, nozzles are installed for introducing titanium tetrachloride, below which an annular nozzle is made in the form of a wall annular channel with an annular collector for introducing a protective gas - oxygen, which forms a thin vortex layer of a protective gas curtain. |
