abstract |
The invention describes a device (1) for dispensing and dry spraying a material (12) selected from the group consisting of anti-infective agents and immunomodulators, comprising a spray channel (3) having a first connecting unit and a second connecting unit, and a source of compressed carrier gas connected to the first connecting node through a valve (16) for supplying a pressure pulse of the carrier gas into the spray channel. The device is characterized in that between the first connection unit and the second connection unit above the spray channel there is a reservoir (10) open only therein containing the spray material (12) and having an airtight connection to the spray channel, and when the valve is closed, compensation (22) pressure in the spray channel and reservoir. The invention also relates to the use of this device for administration by inhalation of a powder pharmaceutical preparation and to a method for dispensing and dry spraying a nebulized material by means of the proposed device. |
