FORMED CATALYSTS WITH A STRUCTURE OF THE "EGG SHELL" CONTAINING COBALT, THEIR USE AND MANUFACTURE |
abstract |
A method for manufacturing a catalyst with an egg-shell structure is described, which includes the following steps: i) immersion of the molded oxide support elements with the smallest element size ≥0.5 mm in a cobaltammine carbonate solution, ii) heating the solution to a temperature between 60 and 120 ° C for precipitation cobalt compounds on the surface of the molded elements; iii) separating the obtained cobalt compounds on the carrier from the residual solution; and iv) drying the cobalt compounds on the carrier. Cobalt compounds can be reduced to obtain catalysts suitable for the hydrogenation of unsaturated compounds or the production of hydrocarbons by Fischer-Tropsch synthesis. |
