abstract A method for forming multi-color images on an element for imaging with at least three image forming layers is presented, in which and which are activated at least partially independently by a thermal head or thermal heads on the same side of the element by adjusting the temperature ) heads (-s) and time during which thermal energy is applied to the layers in which images are formed. The image of each color on the element to form images can be printed separately or in a certain proportion with the image or images of another color or other colors. A new element for imaging is also proposed.
