The subject of the invention is a method and apparatus for the production of polyesters such as polyethylene terephthalate, polypropylene terephthalate and polybutylene terephthalate, based on precondensates, in which vapors with aerosol distributed precondensate components are sent through a polycondensation reactor in which the precondensate components are deposited on the reactor wall and in the product chamber this reactor in the deposition device, and these condensates are directed to the unmixed outlet sump and the upper layers this sump is continuously recycled to the stirred zone of the reactor and is thereby subjected to back mixing and subsequent polycondensation. |
