The present invention relates to the meat industry, in particular to meat products intended for food, especially domestic animals, in particular cats and dogs, or other animals in the diet of which natural meat is provided, and more particularly, to a food product that mimics pieces of natural meat, and the method of its manufacture. According to the present invention, a food product is disclosed that imitates pieces of natural meat pulp, according to the invention, one of the surfaces of each of the pieces has a pronounced formed structure similar to the structure of striated muscle tissue of natural meat. A method for manufacturing said food product is also disclosed. |
