The present invention provides methods for producing molecular sieve catalyst particles, molecular sieve suspensions that can be used in such methods, molecular sieve catalyst compositions, and their use in catalytic hydrocarbon conversion processes. In one aspect, the invention provides a method for producing molecular sieve catalyst particles, comprising the following steps: (a) providing a solution or suspension of an aluminum inorganic oxide precursor in a liquid medium; (b) combining a solution or suspension of an aluminum-containing inorganic oxide precursor with a molecular sieve, and optionally other recipe components, to formulate a catalyst slurry; (c) aging of the formulation of the catalyst suspension in order to obtain a certain percentage in the specified suspension or to increase the existing percentage in the specified suspension of aluminum atoms containing aluminum atoms in the form of oligomers, giving a sharp peak at 62-63 ppm NMR spectrum Al; (g) forming particles of a molecular sieve catalyst from a prescription catalyst suspension. The catalytic compositions obtained by the methods of the present invention have improved abrasion resistance, they are particularly suitable for use in hydrocarbon conversion processes. |
