The invention relates to the use of a compound of formula (I) or a salt thereof, N-oxide, hydrate or solvate for the preparation of a composition for inhibiting HSP90 activity in vitro or in vivo: in which R represents a group of formula (IA): - (Ar) - (Alk ) - (Z) - (Alk) -Q (IA) in which Ar is an optionally substituted aryl or heteroaryl radical, Alk and Alk are optionally substituted with divalent C-Salkylene or C-Salkenylene radicals, m, p, r and s are independently 0 or 1, Z represents -O-, -S-, - (C = O) -, - (C = S) -, -SO-, -C (= O) O-, -C (= O) NR- , -C (= S) NR-, -SONR-, -NRC (= O) -, -NRSO- or -NR-, Rich R is hydrogen or C-alkyl, and Q represents hydrogen or an optionally substituted carbocyclic or heterocyclic radical; R 1 is hydrogen or halogen and R 1 is a carboxylic acid ester, carboxamide or sulfonamide. |
