The present invention is directed to methods of starting up reaction systems. Reaction systems are catalyst systems that include molecular sieves, in particular metalloaluminophosphate molecular sieves, especially metalloaluminophosphate molecular sieves, which are prone to loss of catalytic activity due to contact with water molecules. The methods provide suitable mechanisms for heating and loading the activated molecular sieve, allowing them to be protected from the loss of catalytic activity that may occur due to contact with water molecules. |
