titleOfInvention METHOD OF DRAWING TWO-LAYER GALVANIC COATING ON COPPER SLEEVES AND CRYSTALLIZER PLATES
abstract The invention relates to the field of metallurgy, in particular to continuous casting machines (CCM), and more specifically to the technology of applying a protective coating in the manufacture of plates and sleeves of crystallizers. The problem solved by the invention is to develop a protective coating that provides high wear resistance and hardness of the coating, increasing the service life of the molds and improving the quality of cast billets. The technical result achieved with the use of the invention is to obtain a protective coating that provides improved surface lubricity with liquid steel, high adhesion of the coating to the copper base, the difference in the thermal expansion coefficients of the coatings and the base during the operation of the molds, reduction of the thermal deformation of the molds during the operation, increase resistance plates and sleeves molds. The solution of the problem is ensured by the fact that the method of electrochemical deposition of a two-layer protective coating includes the following operations: washing the surface of the product and a two-layer electrochemical coating in a bath with electrolytes. According to the invention, prior to coating, the products are pretreated in an electrolyte containing sodium hydroxide, then the product is washed with detergents, pumice, solvent and a preparatory washing operation with a solution of hydrochloric acid and sulfamic acid solution, and the electrochemical coating is applied in two layers: first, electrochemical nickel plating is performed in sulphamate electrolyte. To obtain a coating thickness of 845 microns
