The present invention relates to new phytases, in particular phytases derived from fungi, as well as corresponding methods for their preparation. The present invention, in particular, relates to new phytases derived from fungi of the genus Penicillium, in particular the CBS 109899 Penicillium sp. Strain, as well as polynucleotides encoding these phytases. The invention also relates to vectors containing these polynucleotides and transformed organisms expressing these phytases in their tissues. |
