| abstract |
The invention provides a coated product with an onset of action, which is formed from a powder core material containing at least one water-soluble active component, and at least one coating layer is applied to the powder core material. The coating layer gives the product a “blocking” type of release, whereby the release of the active component of the core material from the coated product is substantially completely suppressed until release is initiated by applying a starting material to the coating layer. Also described are methods of preparation and use of such products with the launch of the onset of action. |
