The present invention discloses an electrode for reactive oxygen species, characterized in that it includes an electrically conductive part and a polymer film formed thereon, which is obtained from metal porphyrin. The reactive oxygen species electrode allows the determination, both in vivo and in vitro, of reactive oxygen species such as superoxide radical anion and hydrogen peroxide, or OH, and other reactive radicals (such as NO, ONOO) and thus can be used to identify various diseases and to study reactive oxygen species found in food or water, such as tap water and waste water. |
