This invention relates to a regimen for administering a composition for emergency contraception, to pharmaceutical compositions for the same purpose, to the use of levonorgestrel for the preparation of a pharmaceutical composition for the same purpose, as well as to a method for preparing such pharmaceutical compositions. According to the invention, emergency contraception is carried out using levonorgestrel as an active ingredient by administering a single dose of administration containing 1.5 ± 0.2 mg of levonorgestrel as an active ingredient, no later than 72 hours after coition. The pharmaceutical compositions for the emergency composition according to the invention contain only 1.5 ± 0.2 mg of levonorgestrel as an active ingredient in each dose of the mixture in combination with known excipients, diluents, flavoring or flavoring, stabilizing, as well as facilitating the preparation or preparation of the additives, usually used in pharmaceutical practice. |
