abstract The present invention relates to a Ziegler-Natta catalyst for use in solution polymerization processes for olefins having a low content of aluminum and magnesium. The catalysts according to the present invention contain alkylsilanol, the molar ratio of Si: Ti in such catalysts is from 0.25: 1 to 4: 1. These catalysts are effective in the polymerization of olefins in solution at high temperatures.
