A convenient and effective method for amplification of a nucleic acid sequence, characterized in carrying out a DNA synthesis reaction in the presence of chimeric oligonucleotide primers; a method for producing a large number of amplified DNA fragments; an effective method for amplifying a nucleic acid sequence based on a combination of the above method with another method for amplifying a nucleic acid sequence; a method for detecting a nucleic acid sequence for detecting or quantifying a microorganism such as a virus, bacterium, fungus or yeast; and a method for detecting an amplified DNA fragment obtained in situ using the above method. |
