Describes a device that includes an optical disk made with the ability to read information from it using an optical reader and containing a certain first sector, which has an independent analysis tool for localization of the analyte, the presence of which is assumed in the sample, at least in one predetermined place on the first sector, and some second sector containing an analysis control and analysis location information for one or more analytes, the presence of which is assumed in the sample, available for reading with a reading device, while the presence or absence of an analyte at the specified location is determined with a reader through the use of a control tool and based on information about the location of the analyte. Depending on the nature of the analysis, the optical disc may include means for storing liquids, means for transporting liquids, such as one or more capillary tubes, valves, batteries, dialyzers, columns, filters, sources of electric fields, wires, or other electrically conductive means such as sprayed metal tracks, etc. |
