titleOfInvention EXPANDER FOR INSTALLATION IN AORTA CLEARANCE
abstract Proposed prosthesis containing two Z-shaped extender (7, 8), sewn to the graft (5), containing a tube of biologically compatible material such as Dacron. These Z-shaped dilators are attached to the inner surface of the Dacron tube, in which there is at least one window (10) corresponding to the opening of the crossing artery. There is another Z-shaped expander (1) extending in the proximal direction, which may have downward spikes (2). Each window has one or more radiopaque markers that define the contour of the window. The release mechanism for the specified prosthesis includes the trigger wires sewn into the fold in the dacron to keep the prosthesis in its partially collapsed state during its deployment. The delivery device has a shell that serves to hold the compressed prosthesis during its insertion, and an upper cap that holds the upper expander.
