abstract |
A method is proposed for flame retardant treatment of textile materials by first impregnating them with a melamine-type resin or organosilicon substances, and then with a solution of a complex compound of the ammonium salt of amidoalkylphosphonic acid with ammonium chloride. The materials processed in accordance with the invention have reduced flammability and low toxicity of gases emitted during combustion. |
