abstract | The application describes a highly active catalytic composition for the (co) polymerization of ethylene, optionally with an alpha-olefin with 3-10 carbon atoms, comprising a catalyst precursor and an organoaluminum cocatalyst, the catalyst precursor of which includes I) a silicon dioxide carrier containing 0.3-1.2 mmole groups OH per gram of silica, II) a dialkyl magnesium compound of the formula RMgR, where R and R are the same or different C-C1-6alkyl groups, in an amount of 0.5-1.5 mmol of a dialkyl magnesium compound per gram of silicon dioxide , III) tetraalkylorthosilicate, the alkyl group of which contains 2-6 carbon atoms, in an amount of 0.2-0.8 mmol per gram of silicon dioxide; IV) a chlorinated compound (X) of the formula RSiCl, in which each R is the same or different denotes hydrogen or an alkyl group, and n denotes an integer of 0-3, in an amount of 0.2-4 mmol of compound (X) per gram of silicon dioxide; and V) a titanium compound in an amount of 0.3-1.5 mmol per gram of silicon dioxide A method for preparing a catalyst precursor and a method for (co) polymerizing ethylene using calling the catalyst described above. |
