titleOfInvention INSECTICIDAL COMPOSITION AND METHOD OF STRUGGLE AGAINST INSECTS WITH ITS USE
abstract An insecticidal composition in the form of gel comprising: from 0,001 to 5%, preferably from 0,05 to 0,5% of a compound of formula (I): wherein R1 is a halogen atom, CN group or methyl, R2 is S(O)nR3, R3 is alkyl or haloalkyl, R4 is a hydrogen or halogen atom, or radical NR5R6, S(O)mR7, or C(O)O-R7, alkyl, haloalkyl, OR8 or radical N=C(R9) ((R10), R5 and R6 independently of each other are a hydrogen atom, or alkyl, haloalkyl, C(O)-alkyl, S(O)rCF3; or R5 and R6 can form together a bivalent alkylene radical , which can be interrupted by one or two bivalent heteroatoms, such as oxygen of sulfur; R7 is alkyl or haloalkyl, R8 is alkyl, haloalkyl or a hydrogen atom, R10 is a phenyl or geteroaryl radical, optionally substituted by one or a plurality of halogen atoms or such groups as OH, -O-alkyl, -S-alkyl, cyano or alkyl, R11 and R12 independently of each other are a hydrogen or halogen atom, R13 us a halogen atom or a haloalkyl group, a haloalkoxy group, group S(O)qCF3 or SF5, m, n, q, r independently of each other are integer 0, 1 or 2, X is a trivalent nitrogen atom or radical C-R12, wherein three other valences of a carbon atom represent a part of an aromatic cycle, provided that when R1 is methyl, than R3 is haloalkyl, R4 is NH2, R11 is Cl, R13 is CF3, and X is N, from 0,05 to 10%, preferably from 0,1 to 5% of a thickening agent; and from 5 to 50%, preferably from 10 to 40% of propylene glycol and the rest amount is a solvent, wherein said compositions have viscosity from 30 to 10000cP at an ambient temperature. 2. The insecticidal composition as claimed in claim 1, wherein the height of a drop of said composition above a plane surface, on which it has been applied, remains more than 1 mm, preferably more than 3 mm during period of time exceeding a day, preferably over 2 days at an ambient temperature. 3. The insecticidal composition as claimed in claim 1 or 2, wherein said thickening agent is selected fromheterosaccharide, polyacrylate salt, in particular, ammonium salt, vinylpyrrolidone and vinylacetate copolymer, polyglycol, such as polyethylene glycol, starch or gum arabic. 4. The insecticidal composition as claimed in any claims 1-3, wherein comprises from 30 to 70%, preferably from 40 to 60% of sugar. 5. The insecticidal composition as claimed in claim 4, wherein said sugars are selected from mono-, oligo- or polyorganosaccharides, preferably from saccharose, lactose, fructose, dextrose, glucose or molasses or honey. 6. The insecticidal composition as claimed in any claims 1-5, wherein said composition of formula (I) is 5-amino-3-cyano-1-[2,6-dichloro-4(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]-4-[(trifluoromethyl)sulfonyl]-1H-pyrazole. 7. The insecticidal composition as claimed in any claims 1-6, wherein said composition comprises also a conservative agent preventing degradation of sugar, and/or a thickening agent selected from sodium benziate, 1,2-benzisothiazoline-3-one, benzoic acid, para-hydroxybenzoic acid and its derivatives in the form of esters or salt of alcali or alcali earth metals, in particular sodium salt, 2-phenylphenol and its salts of alcali or alcali earth metals, in particular, sodium salt. 8. The insecticidal composition as claimed in any claims 1-6, wherein said composition comprises also an attaractive agent selected from among apomatic compounds of animal or vegetable origin, or sodium glutamate. 9. A method of combatting insects by applying the insecticidal composition in zones susceptible by insects, wherein for purpose a composition is used according to any one of claims 1-9. 10. The method as claimed in claim 9, wherein an effective amount corresponds to a dose of a compound of formula (I) equal to the dose necessary to destroy at least 90% of insects during period of time from 2 to 15 days, preferably from 2 to 4 days. 11. The method as claimed in claim 9 or 10, wherein insects are ants. 12. The method as claimed in claim 11, wherein an effective amount of a composition to be used corresponds to dose of a compound of claim (I) comprises between 5 mg and 5 g, preferably between 10 mg and 2 g per 100 m<2>. 13. The method as claimed in any claims 10-12, wherein the composition is applied in the form of a drop. 14. The method as claimed in any claims 10-13, wherein said composition is placed inside a container with bait and having apertures the size of which are adapted for passing through only ants.
