titleOfInvention | STABILIZED HYDROGEN PEROXIDE PREPARATION AND PROCEDURE FOR PREPARING THEREOF |
abstract | A stabilised, aqueous hydrogen peroxide preparation which consists of an aqueous dispersion which, calculated on the total weight of the preparation, contains 0.1-4% by weight H2O2 and 0.5-15% by weight β-crystals of 1 or more lipids selected from monoglycerides of fatty acids, ascorbic acid, phosphate- or lactic acid esters of fatty acids and monoglycerol ethers, with the fatty acid being saturated, and the ether chains containing 12-18 carbon atoms, is produced by the β-crystals firstly being formed in an aqueous mixture and the hydrogen peroxide then being added, preferably in the form of an aqueous solution of this hydrogen peroxide. Despite the low stabiliser concentration, the preparation exhibits an extremely good stability, which can, where appropriate, be ensured by adding a metal ion complex- forming agent, at the same time as it has a liquid character. It is used for a number of disinfection purposes, for example for treating the teats of milk- producing animals by dipping them in a bath. |
