titleOfInvention PROCEDURE AND PLANT FOR DEATH AND DRAINAGE OF ORGANIC MATERIAL
abstract A method for removing fat and water from organic material A comprises a crushing and fine division 1-3 of the material and a heating 4, preferably while stirring, up to a temperature of 40-70 degrees Celsius, after which the material by means of a screen worm 5 is taken to a press 6, where it is divided into a solid phase 14 and a liquid phase 12, 17. A portion of the liquid phase, preferably the least water-containing part 16, is recycled back to the heating step 4. The separated liquid phase 12, 17 is centrifuged and thereby divided into glue water 13, which is evaporated 10 down to a concentrate 15 and taken to the solid phase 14, and technical grade grease B. The solid phase 14, 15 is dried 7 and can be used for production of feed additives C. By recycling the least water-containing part 16 of the liquid phase in the heating step 4, one achieves an improvement with regard to separation of the organic material into a solid phase, containing pieces of bone and protein substances, and a liquid phase, containing primarily water and melted fatty substances, and one also achieves a better energy economy for the process. The invention also concerns a layout for implementation of the method. <IMAGE>
