titleOfInvention CHROMOGLYCIN ACID DERIVATIVES, PROCEDURES FOR PREPARING THEREOF AND PHARMACEUTICAL PREPARATIONS
abstract Cromoglicic acid derivatives of the general formula I <IMAGE> where R1 is a hydrogen atom or an α, β or γ amino acid residue (for ester linkage) whose amino group can optionally be substituted by at least one lower alkyl group, and where R2 and R3, independently of each other, is each a lower alkyloxy-substituted or unsubstituted lower alkyl group, a 1-alkanoyloxyalkyl group, a 1- alkoxycarbonyloxyalkyl group, a phthalidyl group or a 5- methyl-1,3-dioxol-2-on-4-ylmethyl group, but such that if R1 is a hydrogen atom, R2 and R3 are then different from lower alkyl groups and from 1-alkanoyloxyalkyl groups; non-poisonous salts thereof; a process for preparing them; and pharmaceutical preparations which comprise such compounds. Since the compounds possess antiallergic activity and [illegible] can be absorbed into the bloodstream, they can be used as orally administrable antiallergic agents.
