The compounds are medicaments having a powerful vitamin D effect. 26,26,26,27,27,27-hexafluoro-25-hydroxycholesterol. 26,26,26,27,27,27-hexafluoro-1α, 25 dihydroxycholesterol. 26,26,26,27,27,27-hexafluoro-25-hydroxycholest- 1,4,6-trien-3-one. 26,26,26,27,27,27-hexafluoro-25-hydroxy-1α, 2α epoxycholest-4,6-dien-3-one. 26,26,26,27,27,27-hexafluoro-1α, 3β, 25-trihydroxycholest-5,7-diene. The abovementioned five compounds are intermediates.
