abstract |
A device for use in the surgical insertion of an intraocular lens comprises a pad (50) formed by resilient element harmless to a living body, a drawing thread (51) mounted on a rear portion (55) of the pad, and an insert portion (54) formed at a front portion of the pad. The insert portion (54) has a shape suitable to fit into a ciliary sulcus of an aphakic eye. The pad (50) has a thickness capable of covering a tip end of a surgical needle. <IMAGE> |
