titleOfInvention Powdery adhesive
abstract Described is a powder-form adhesive made from cold-water-soluble polysaccharides and which is characterized in that it contains 1 to 50 % by wt. of at least one coarse granular material which is soluble in cold water without increasing the viscosity. The granular material preferably has an average particle size of 0.5 to 5 mm, in particular 1.0 to 1.5 mm. Suitable for use as the granular material are, above all, alkali-metal and alkaline-earth salts, as well as sugar and urea. Adding it ensures that glues and adhesive pastes made from the powder-form adhesive are free of lumps.
